Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has clarified the reason behind his slimmer look, confirming it is for an upcoming movie role.

The 53-year-old actor, widely known for his massive physique, appeared leaner at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, sparking speculation among fans.

Speaking in an interview cited by Daily Mail,  Dwayne Johnson explained that the transformation was intentional, as the role required him to shed his signature bulky frame. He admitted the process is still ongoing and jokingly noted that it involves “cutting down on chicken.”
