A new airline-related incident has gone viral online, sparking debate on the importance of properly educating both passengers and airline staff.
In the circulating footage, no fewer than eight airport officials are seen forcefully removing a middle-aged man from an Enugu Air flight. The passenger resists as they drag him near the aircraft, creating a chaotic scene.
“He said they had already pulled off his trousers, and now he has no slippers,” a woman filming from the waiting lounge narrated, as one staff member roughly held the man by his waistband and shoved him.
Possible Cause
The reason for the confrontation remains unconfirmed. However, unverified reports suggest the man was asked to vacate an exit row seat over concerns that he might not be able to assist in case of an emergency. His refusal allegedly escalated into the dispute that led to his removal from the plane.
Public Reaction
The viral video has since drawn widespread attention, with many social media users criticizing how the situation was handled. Others argue that passengers also need to comply with safety rules to avoid such confrontations.
