BREAKING: Man Utd agree deal for Onana to leave club

Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement with Turkish side Trabzonspor over a loan move for Andre Onana, but the final call now lies with the goalkeeper himself.

The goalkeeper, who has only played in United’s Carabao Cup second-round exit at Grimsby Town this season, has struggled for game time under manager Ruben Amorim, who has preferred Altay Bayindir in Premier League fixtures.

The Red Devils also added further competition this summer, signing Belgian shot-stopper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp in an £18 million deal.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on X, writing:

“Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement with Manchester United to sign André Onana on loan. Club to club verbal agreement in place and final decision now up to Onana. It’s only up to the goalkeeper.”
